NetSaint is a web-based network tool that monitors hosts and services on your network. This talk will explore its set-up and possibilities.

Disaster Recovery: Be Prepared

The basics of Disaster Recovery will be explained in a nutshell. Besides backups, we need to prepare a Disaster Recovery procedure to rebuild a crashed system from ground up as soon as possible. Therefore, we will present a tool 'mkcdrec' which will make a bootable CD-ROM with all the tools necessary to rebuild the crashed system.

On November, 25th 2000, 'mkcdrec' was officially released to the world and during the talk the internals were explained.
